I think there was some user activity that seems to have corrupted my Venus 6 install. I am seeing errors that I’ve never seen before when I try to run a method.
I thought I had a Venus 6 installer on a USB but there’s not a single executable that’s obviously the one that will repair Venus the way I’m familiar with on older versions. Is there any chance I could get a copy of Venus 6 from Hamilton? I won’t share it publicly if that would be preferred. If what I’m seeing could be fixed some other way that would be helpful.
I think the source is that someone moved a log file from the LogFiles folder. Could that really have caused what I’m seeing?
Solution: Permissions got changed on the LogFiles folder due to erroneous copying of files. User permissions should be set to full access.
