I am back at it again with another instrument problem
I tried running the weekly/daily maintenance protocol on our STAR Plus, but ran into an “encountered an improper argument” error when I opened either one of them. This error obviously doesn’t start the run, nor does it provide a trace file for me to troubleshoot with. I was wondering if anyone had any idea where this error is coming from. I tried restarting the computer and instrument to see if any backend processes were interfering with it, but no.
There isn’t too much information provided from your description but I would imagine it would have to do with a setting in the Hamilton System Configuration… perhaps wrong deck configuration. Did you do something to the PC prior to encountering the error? Reinstalling of Venus etc?

C:\Program Files (x86)\HAMILTON\Methods\VM\StarLineDailyMaintenance.hsl and stp
C:\Program Files (x86)\HAMILTON\Methods\VM\StarLineMaintenance_StarPlus.lay and res
These files come as part of Venus install so it should already be there.
