Evoware downloads for simulation/ development

This is a great question. I guess a good starting point is to uninstall the software and see what files remain behind.

As you noted, Database is the big one. Fortunately that folder does get left behind so if you ever have to re-install the software in a pinch it’s very useful. In my experience I would also include User Management and if you’re using Driver Framework you’re going to want to backup the drivers as well. The latter is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Tecan\FluentControl\LegacyDrivers. However those two may not be so Git friendly.

Historically the Fluent Control has had a tendency to crash during development so I’ve always been mindful of VisionX and SVNRoot. I’ve brought back more than a few computers from the grave with just those two folders.

Just piggy backing off the original post, but would it be possible to get the latest version of fluent control as well?

Also to piggyback, would like to have a look at it in a VM as well!

Apologies for necroing the thread. I recently lost my Evoware installer and was wondering if someone would be so kind as to send it to me?

Hey all,

I’d really appreciate it if I could have the download as well please? Ideally we’d have an accessible folder at the top of the Tecan forum so it’s readily available.

@CSharps if you provide me with your email I can send you a link where you can download.

@KevMcGuire_Tecan I’d also be interested in EvoWare, but it seems I can’t message anyone yet. What I’m looking to do is triage what I believe to be a bug in the robotools python package, does EvoWare without hardware allow you to load .gwl files and assess if they would work, or would the simulation package also be needed to define what kind of hardware would be available? Thanks a lot!
