In VENUS 6, under Settings > General, there is an option for Run History Management, which handles automatic clean up of the LogFiles folder. Options include “files older than” timespan, and whether to delete the files or move them to a new folder:
Earlier versions of VENUS require either manually cleaning up these folders or using other tools/scripts to automatically delete/archive the files. When performing this step manually, the files of interest to remove are: .trc, .mdf, .ldf, and tadm.mdb files. Files outside of those listed may be tied to specific methods or libraries and need to be considered on a case-by-case basis. If not deleting these files, than simply cut/pasting to a new location will be sufficient. Note that administrator or specific user rights are required to move/delete mdf/ldf files.
