Does anybody know of an automated incubator or oven able to go as high as 92c? Liconic used to make their high-temp incubator however have discontinued it.
By Automated, I am looking for automatic import, export of SBS plates up to 60mm tall in a random access hotel. Would need to be able to hold at least 8 plates.
Anybody have any leads on a solution here?

These can run anywhere from 4C-100C. These are pretty high capacity though (14 or 28 stacker options). I don’t know of any that are smaller capacity than that. So it may be overkill for what you’re looking for. I also have never used them, so can’t speak to how well it holds up in real life usage.
I would ask all of the vendors if they have custom Options, they may have a solution that they dont advertise, this was the case at Thermo.
Could you change the science to work with a heated plate pad?

It’s not really what you’re asking for, but I have worked with Inheco’s single plate Incubator/Shaker and it’s pretty nice if you need higher temps. They advertise that it only goes to 80C, it’s also only a single plate, but they do stack. I used a Tecan Evo 100 that had two of them stacked in the back, you could easily stack more or have them as part of a workcell.
90C has got to be pretty tough on sensors/servos so there probably aren’t going to be too many options there. I also wonder about safety, would the product have to lock the doors and prevent access until the temps come down. 90C is gonna burn really quick if someone accidentally opens the system and grabs some metal.
Curious what the use case is for this, if you can share?
