We have not noticed any condensation, but we are not running many plates yet. When we start to ramp up, I’ll keep an eye on it.
We are using ComfortLids as well and with a 110c lid temp of the ODTC96, there so far has been no need to spin the plate due to condensation. Using the dial ODTC kit on Hamilton STARs and so far been no issue but we are just starting our validation.
I’m starting to see droplets on our Comfort Lids after going through the ODTC with lid temperatures at 110C. The droplets seem to appear in the middle “wells” (D06-E06 region) of the lid. Has anyone seen this before or has some advice on addressing this issue?
I am looking at integrating the Thermo ATC384 into our Fluent 780. Thank you for the ideas re. seals, plate covers and mineral oil.
We’ve had to go with Thermo as they have a demo locally and a quicker turnaround time.
@Optimize, how simple is the integration of the Thermo ATC? I suppose that the same Execute command/method in the Fluent script will apply?
