Scientist working in the pharma field for just over 15 years now (2024 when written). Background is in biophysics, X-ray crystallography, and automation. Work has been primarily in small molecule drug development, however in recent years I began working with a new drug modality, peptides! Lots of experience with various liquid handlers (agilent bravo, Janus, CyBi-wells, Apricots, TECAN Fluent 1080, Labcyte ECHO). I’m the person in the lab who isn’t afraid to pull out a phillips head screwdriver and pliers to fix something, and on occasion have made custom adapters in my own garage as needed.
