Welcome to my profile! I’m Wessel, a research associate at Genmab in Utrecht, where I work in Cell Line Development with a strong focus on automation. If it can be automated, I’m probably interested in it

I’ve been working in lab automation for over 5 years now, gaining hands-on experience with a range of platforms including Hamilton, Tecan, and other smaller automated systems. Most of my time is spent in the lab culturing or optimizing workflows, troubleshooting systems, and figuring out how to make processes more robust and scalable.

I enjoy working on the edge of biology and technology, especially when it comes to improving efficiency and reliability in the lab (also I like to be lazy so if it can be automated I will definitely try to get it automated ). Always curious to learn how others approach automation challenges and happy to exchange ideas.
