We have sterile and non-sterile CORE II tips, and it would be very handy to have an “OR” wildcard for the labware barcode mask, so that the instrument would accept either type of tips, is there such a thing?
We don’t need to use sterile tips, but as we happened to get them would be a lot less hassle to not have to worry which box happened to be opened and just use them up.
You can change the barcode masks in the labware properties. Filtered tips have a 235905************ mask, non-filtered have 235904************. So you could jsut replace the 5/4 with another asterisk.
However, I would still recommend to anaylze the barcode masks, since you would need different liquid classes for filtered and non-filtered tips.
