I have TADM install and have enabled it in VENUS. I have the .mdb file from the TADM measurements, but I’m unsure how to anaylze the data. Seems like the programmer’s manual says I need the VENUS M software? Can anyone give me guidance on viewing these TADM graphs from the file. thanks
Hi @EH421
I strongly recommend reviewing the TADM Programmer’s Guide which is available on the Hamilton Materials Share for the forum.
Within the content within the manual, you will find instruction on how to access TADM data as well as how to interpret the curves.
Additionally, if you search for TADM as a subject using the forum search feature, you will find some threads that might be of interest as this topic gets brought up on a regular basis. Some good discussion to read through if interested.
Thanks.

Here is the liquid class opened in liquid editor. The button to “add from run” is greyed out so I can’t select TADM data to look at.
Are the TADM run transfer .mdb database files still in the default Logfiles folder?
For curves from runs to be present, the editor must find .mdb files in the Logfiles folder with entries that contain the liquid class of interest.
Thanks.
Theres a wonderful software called TADMCurveExporter which is an executable that allows you to export from the mdb file into an excel or csv file, for you to then easily visualise the curves. One quirk it has is that before you can insert graphs you’ll need to go to the excel review tab and click unshare workbook. I believe @EricSindelar_Hamilton was where I got the exe from, though I may be wrong
As it turns out, this is a previously unknown bug with the installation of default SlimTipFilter liquid classes. Default liquid classes are not supposed to have TADM enabled, as their read only property prevents viewing curves in the editor. This issue has been reported to our software team. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
To overcome this moving forward, simply make a copy of the default liquid class (re-named), and update the reference to the LC in the pipetting steps of your method which use it.
@tarun.chapman - All files shared by Eric are publicly accessible for download on the Hamilton forum materials share, which is intended to be used as a centralized hub of sharable Hamilton and VENUS related files for forum users.
The TADM export application can be found in the GUI ands and Tools section.
Thanks.
