Automated High-Throughput Electroporation on Liquid Handler

Hi everyone,

Like the title stated, I was wondering if an automated high-throughput electroporation for transformation that can be integrated with a liquid handler (like Hamilton) does exist?

We currently have a transformation protocol on our STAR Plus that uses hot and cold plates (Inheco CPAC) for heat shock but we are looking for alternative methods to increase our transformation efficiency.

I know Lonza has an automated nucleofection solution that can be integrated with a Hamilton Vantage, perhaps that is worth investigating?

If you need large quantities of product this is one solution:

I don’t have any experience with this specific device but it seems like a good option.

I definitely second the benefits of evaluating the Lonza solution for sure!
