Recently one of our systems has randomly experienced a check sum verification failure that caused Method Editor to not open and we are also unable to run any methods through Run Control. The error is shown below.
Has anyone run into this issue before? We have disabled check sum verification in the system configuration settings for now to get around this, but have never seen this issue before. Wondering if others have also seen this issue and how they went about solving the issue. This issue seemed to have happened after we upgraded our software to VoV v2.2.
we always have checksum disables but in past i saw this when multiple users changed the method and 1 person had checksum disable and other one have it enable
I have seen this problem when many larger image files were embedded directly in dialogs. If I remember correctly, these were well over 10 MB in total. The problem was then solved by linking via variables.
I just wanted to say that this recently happened to me. I came here looking for an answer and luckily I found your explanation. I had added quite a few images to the dialogs that were over the recommended 100kb.
