I ran into a weird bug recently on a Hamilton with Venus 4 where the CO-RE liquid editor will not open. It displays an error that “Tip Type 45” is unavailable?
Has anyone else encountered or solved this?

It appears your system has imported a method that has a liquid class for slim tips with filter, but your configuration has not been set up for it.
Easy fix though. You will need to run the following installers:
300uL Filtered Slim Tips
300uL Slim Tips
Password: Hamilton24
After installation the Liquid Class Editor should open up.

Do you know if having this would affect existing methods? Or is it just an error with the editor?
It won’t affect existing methods. It will address the error with the liquid editor which is looking for that tip type in the configuration but not finding it. The installer adds the tip type along with liquid classes.

Hello getting similar error starting liquid editor: Tip type with id ‘67’ not found (after importing tip manufacturer package). Using Venus 4.5. Any suggestions?

Tip type 67 is for 1mL 3.2 Wide Bore Tips with Filter which is not installed by default. Use the installer below to add the tip type to your config and correct the issue:
