Converting Old Venus 4 files to Venus 6

Hi all,

I’m getting a new Hamilton soon and was wondering if anyone has experience porting stuff over from Venus 4 to Venus 6? I tried it on a laptop not connected to an instrument and I got some errors about Liquid Classes. I have some custom liquid classes in a few of my programs. The error message references it as an older version. Is this cause for concern? Is it just referring to that one class?

Did you copy over the liquid classes you need? I know that there is a new version of ASW Dialogs in Venus 6, but this is the only thing I have seen cause critical issues with any of my programs when upgrading!

Can you share the error that you are receiving? From VENUS 4 to 6 the liquid classes should not have compatibility issues. There are issues, however, from VENUS 6 to 4 if you are not importing using a pkg.
