Cutting Hole in Automation Table

I have a Fluent with a through deck waste chute, but the instrument is sitting on a table like this one: Hamilton Company Table:Workstation / Workbench Automation w/Casters, Top & Bottom Shelf For Sale - Copia Scientific

Any advice/experience cutting a tip waste hole in this style table?

the trespa top is pretty solid, 1/2" thick I think

you’ll need a decent saw, blades & plenty of ventilation as the smoke generated would be a problem

any chance to take fluent off the table and get it cut externally ?

Don’t for get the vacuumed, that stuff make a hell of a mess.

Yes thanks we had several shop vacs running and sealed the area to direct the air flow.
