I am evaluating the possibility of using different tube manufacturers without having users swap the cap cartridge with every incoming tube. I would like to do so by restricting the possible incoming tubes to a few suppliers but I need to allow for some flexibility.
Does anyone know if there are tube manufacturers/suppliers that share the compatible bit head in their cap with one another and could theoretically be capped/decapped using the same decapper setup (e.g. Azenta and Corning caps look pretty similar). I am in the scoping process so I don’t have a decapper available to do hands-on testing and wanted to see if a compatibility chart could be crowdsourced by this community.
