Anyone know of a way to aspirate and dispense in different X/Y locations of a microplate well in Tecan Fluent? I would like to aspirate from the corner of the wells and dispense into the center of the well.
There are a few different options:
- One can set a X or Y offset in mm at the Aspirate / Dispense script commands (expand the Advanced section at the script command)
- One can define the labware definition with multiple compartments and teach each compartment at a different position. Later at the Aspirate / Dispense script command there is a parameter for the compartment number (expand the Advanced section at the script command)
- In the Microscript of the liquid class one can use Move X / Move Y microscript command. If needed one could even drive to multiple positions during the same Aspirate or Dispense script command with microscripting in the used liquid class
