In my deck layout, I use two different tip types on the same rack. However, when loading the carrier, a dialoge pops up saying “Load Carrier - Multiple plates” or similar, and that the software couldn’t assign a unique barcode to the labware. What am I doing wrong? When doing this for plates, we simply created its own sequences and asked the software to load the specific sequence. And it works.
Is there any difference from how tips should be handled?
Hi rayray I am experiencing a similar issue but instead of different tip types its different plates. I’ve tried assigning a barcode to the plate of interest within Labware Properties/Barcode Mask to match the physical barcode or if its in simulation mode “Barcode01” but I still haven’t been able to resolve the issue. I guess one option would be to delete the other 2 plates but wouldn’t want to do that. Can you share how you’ve been able to resolve yours?
