Dynamically Update Container Seek Height

Hi all!

@BrandonBare_Hamilton, is there a nifty way to set properties at the container level? Similar to “ADJUST_SetProperties” of the Labware_Property_Query.smt…but if I’m not mistaking, I think all the property keys listed in the Labware Definition Keys.xlsx are at the rack level?

Specifically, looking to adjust the Seek Height of a container on the fly as the liquid level drops.

Hi Arielle,

I’m certainly no @BrandonBare_Hamilton, but have you tried to enable this function via the System Configuration Editor to do what you’re trying to achieve?

Ah ha, great point! In all my years, I have actually never used this.

Sidebar, requires sample tracking to be enabled and labware height >40mm. If we meet these requirements for this application, I will definitely give it a go!

There’s tabs on the labware properties .xls for containers, rack, and tml
