Hi is there any way to ignore/bypass this error and proceed with the dispense operation?

Seeing this error when running a 3rd party tip manufacturer’s provided library/methods. Opening up their .smt file in the method editor I see they are using SPT:PIP_AspirateFromFixedHeight. Somehow it is not registering the channel usage, so on the subsequent dispense I get this error.

If I disable their SPT:PIP_AspirateFromFixedHeight and add a 1000ul Channel Aspirate (Single Step) on ML_STAR, this error does not happen on the dispense.

Any pointer in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks

This error only happens in sim mode, not when running actual instrument

Can you add a trace file here? Trace your channel patterns, sequence and perhaps show a snippet of this smt.

Simulations won’t show a lot of hardware errors like this, which is why simulation works. As Pascal says, a trace file would be helpful here
