Evo Air LiHa volume question

I keep getting errors about some small volume too much in diluter. For instance I have the 50ul tips on and get 2.43ul too much in diluter. I get that this is because of the LAG and TAG in the liquid class, but even then things don’t seem to add up in my head. When I look at how much I was pipetting and add things up it comes to some value greater than 50ul.

What are the actual max volumes (including the TAG and LAG) that you can use for 50ul filter tips? 200ul filter tips? 1000ul filter tips?

Where can you find this info?

Beside the sample volume, LAG and TAG, you also need to consider Liquid Class Calibration settings.

For example a volume of 30ul with the settings from the following screenshot: 30ul * 1.045 + 0.2 = 31 .55ul plunger movement

In the text logfiles (C:\ProgramData\TECAN\EVOware\AuditTrail\log) it should log both net and gross volumes at the Aspirate/Dispense commands.

Not sure what the max. limits are, but try to check the labware definition of each DiTi definition, if there’s some volume information present in the labware definition & attributes
