Hello, I’m working with magpip channels on a STAR V. I’m trying to multidispense 1 uL with 50 uL tips, but keep getting a failed to get ADC pressure data for tip volume of x uL. It did fine for 5 uL. One dispense into source, eight times into different wells, one dispense into the source, and finally a jet tip & eject. Error appears after dispensing into multiple wells.
I tried increasing the aspirate volume from 20 to 35 uL, but the error will still be “failed to get ADC pressure data for tip volume of 16 uL”. I’m not sure what else to change. Also using water to test this serum liquid class, can’t really change that. I don’t do much Hamilton Venus programming, so I apologize for not knowing a lot of terms/settings.
For MagPip, the liquid has to be matched with the liquid class. The density, in particular, is used to generate the pressure curve so a liquid with different density will have a different pressure curve and will lead to these types of errors. Best practice for doing a water test is to use a water liquid class.
