I am new to Hamilton Venus (4.5) and am trying to figure out how to transfer a lid independent of the PCR plate.
Also, I noted no option to create / edit a lid. Is that the “include cover” option?
I would appreciate your guidance and support with this.
If you want to only transfer a lid you need a plate that includes the cover (eg the lid) and just the lid on the target position. The tricky thing is that you won’t find the lid definitions in the standard selection of your deck layout, you will have to browse to them. For the transfer steps you can then select to only transport the lid. Lids only have one selectable position to create their sequence. That position is also lower and to the left when compared to the plate it sits on (ie a bit lower and to the left of position H1).
