Hamilton Venus 6.2 - Object reference not set to an instance of an object during teaching labwares

Hi,

Has anyone ran into this issue when doing a fresh install with the venus 6.2 with the vantage system? Whenever I teach a labware and select CORE-96 head, it will go to a known position to pick up tips but doesn’t pick them up (regardless if you have tips or not on the deck). It will prompt me this error. I’ve tried teaching with the single channels and still receive the same error.

Initialization worked fine prior to this.

Any help would be appreciated!

We had the same issue. The FSE told us that this is a known problem in Venus 6.2. We got an update to 6.2.2 and teaching works fine now.

My local rep doesn’t know anything about 6.2.2 version existing. Do you know anyone I can best contact to acquire this information? Much appreciated.

Unfortunetaly, I don’t have any further information. Could be that we got it as an emergency fix?
Maybe the guys from Hamilton can shed some light on this?

No worries! @BrandonBare_Hamilton is assisting me with the communication with my local rep to see if the 6.2.2 or something will fix our issue
