We have 8 HHS, and all of them open too narrowly to accept a plate. I can manually move the HHS clamp open further, allowing the plate to seat in.
Is there a way to change the open position of the HHS such that the iswap can place labware into it? As it currently stands, our HHS opens too narrowly for a successful iSWAP place operation
This is a tough one.
I did some testing on a unit I have. I drove the mechanism to it’s limit using the TXLS firmware command and this was the maximum result.
I would set them to open and check this dimension. If it isn’t quite this number you can use the TXLS or TXLS command to drive it to the maximum if the preset locations aren’t opening as much.
It’s not a lot of adjustment but may get you a little more.
