I have been trying to figure out if there is a way where we can add different types of tube racks into a run and if it would be scannable by Fluent ID? The samples that are received are all different tube types and I wasn’t sure if it is possible to have different types of tube runners while also scanning the samples to then be transferred into a plate?

But the FluentID is expecting racks of certain types in certain positions
so it might be necessary to ask the operator, which rack on whic grid,
after that, the worktable can be dynamically loaded with tube runners & specific tube types

So that is the approach I ended up taking but I am having issues coming up with an efficient variable to combine the different types of tubes in a runner slot in order to automatically add that specific labware based on the user input entries to the work table Ex) in touch tools I have the user input answer which tube type will be in Slot7, Slot8, etc and I answer 2ml tubes for S7 and 5ml tubes for S8 how can I have it automatically know what the user has answered? I’ve tried to have if statements but it doesn’t seem to do much
