Does anyone have any experience with Lab Donkey as scheduler/integrator? I just saw the announcement that AZ is partnering with them in Gothenberg.
Not worked with it directly, only know they used to work at Automata and the product is based on the older Softwareversion of Automata (they softlaunched a new version of the Scheduler). It is a small company (4 people if I am correct) and in the early stage. The old Automata version was quite “stiff” in terms adding new features - I assume LabDonkey will be the same, as it is based on it. The new Automata version in build on a new tech-stack.
It depends for what do you need the scheduling? There are many in the markets, with advantages and disadvantages.

Haven’t worked directly with them, but from what i’ve seen their software is pretty intuitive and versatile. I think they’re highly underrated.
They’re small and scrappy, which in my experience means excellent support/service.
I have actually used both Automata and LabDonkey
From what I have experienced so far there is no similarity between the two systems. So I wouldn’t say it’s fair to say they are based on an older version of Automata. I agree that Automata has in the past been quite slow when it comes to development and releases but with LabDonkey we have had the benefit of working with a small company to develop the tools and features we need quickly.
