Labels used with Scinomix Sci-print MP2 and Zebra printer?

Hi,

we are looking for labels for our automated microplate labeler Scinomix MP2 but also some Zebras for manual labeling of tubes and microplates.

Do you guys use labels from the manufacturer directly eg. Scinomix / Agilent (MP2/Vcode) or do you use labels from Computype or Labtag or another party instead?

Same for labels which would be manually printed and applied using Zebra printers for example. Any preferences and experiences here you guys can share?

Pleas also let me know if you prefer to use other printers like Brady for example.

The MP2 and Vcode both use the same Squix cab printer, so we used Squix labels.

I’ve only used the Vcode, is the MP2 any more reliable or easier to set up? The Vcode was finicky to set up, but the software is quite powerful (after some programming) and it was reliable once setup.
