Library Downloads? (Requests)

Hi Colin and all,

We’re actively working on the recovery. All files were recovered and now we’re trying to recover the shared links which is taking some time. I don’t have an estimate for when this will be done, but I am eager to resolve it as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Eric

Update - the files and many of the links have been recovered. Unfortunately, some links may not work - particularly those made from October 2024 onwards. We will try to identify those and set up redirects, but most of the files can be found browsing through the repository here.

Our file share host is working on how to prevent this from happening again - our apologies for the inconvenience!

Thank you,

Eric

@EricSindelar_Hamilton : can we get Venus 6.3 and its API document?

Hi Kalpesh,

Please reach out to your local sales and support team for a copy of the 6.3.2 software.

For all API inquiries and materials, please visit our API Developer Site. Access to the portal provides the guides and a forum to ask questions.

Best regards,

Eric

Hi everyone,
2 questions…

I have some Sky Frames coming in, the user guide states that module specific sub-methods are needed to control these. Does anyone know which sub-methods the manual is referring to? Also does anyone have any experience using these?

While testing an NGSStar hamilton provided method a user prompt popped up referencing a tool called “NEW NGS Set Up V2.4.med” i looked everywhere for it but I can not find it ( the prompt points me to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Hamilton\NGSStar… but its not in there. It sounds really interesting and would love to try it out. Does anyone know where to get it?

Thank you so much in advance!

Hey there,

would it maybe possible to add a Library for the BVS and a demo method to the folder.

The driver/setup files if required would be a great help as well.

Thanks in advance.

The libraries to control the vacuum carrier are included with VENUS by default. There are two libraries for low level and high level commands. The low level commands essentially just control the vacuum pump while the high level commands control the entire device and enable the use of sample tracking for the vacuum controls. The low and high level commands should be used separately from each other.

Add the HSLVacuuBrandPump library and you will have access to both sets of commands.

I uploaded an example method here.

Thanks for the quick reply and the demo method, must have overlooked the library yesterday.

This unlocks the wonderful world of solid phase extraction for me :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
