I have to instruments that run nearly the same protocols, though over time their labware has been adjusted and liquid classes adjusted individually. Is there a function in vworks to merge the two instruments liquid classes and labware? The only solution I have found is manually via the .reg which is rather tedious…
You could try using the export/import utility on each protocol, when you import the protocol to the other system, it will give you the option to import the new labware and keep the current labware def
In my previous life, while not common, depending on the differences between the two systems. I have seen slight performance differences between identical instrumentation. This could result in slight differences in liquid classes to achieve the same results. Nothing drastic, but slight differences on correction curves etc. Just something to also consider.
Does this work for liquid classes as well?
