Ml Star Is Core Head Special TipPickup volume retention rules

Hi,

During trouble shooting we came across an unknown parameter used during an IMCS run:

MlStarIsCoreHeadSpecialTipPickup with a set of rules applied (png attached). We cannot find how much volume or motor increments these commands actually produce irl.

When looking at the COM these translate into wu0, wu1, w02 the don’t have increment parameters attached. Could someone at Hamilton elaborate how these commands derive their motor steps/volume?

Reading between the lines from this post from Hamilton indicated that the volume that is aspirated is the full tip volume for the tip type you are picking up when MlStarIsCoreHeadSpecialTipPickup is equal to 1 or 2.
