We have recently got a PAA KX-2 with linear rail and are looking at mounting options. I was just wondering how others have mounted the rail. Our plan is for a custom extruded aluminum base with a Trespa surface with through holes to bolt to the rail.

The rail needs to be attached to a base that is level. As you have suggested, we use aluminium extrusion, or a hard surface such as Trespa. Make sure you drill and fix EVERY fixing hole in the track…
