I recently started working with a Biomek i-series robot. There’s a bit of slack in the X and Y for a standard well plate sitting on the deck. I’m guessing this is to avoid issues with the plate gripper.
I have an application that requires highly repeatable positioning of a piece of labware on the deck. It doesn’t move often, and it doesn’t need to interact with the gripper. My current solution involves pushing the labware to the A1 corner of its nest when I place it on the deck. I need something more permanent.
Has anyone encountered this situation before? Any solutions?
