Spam Wave

There’s been a brutal influx of spammers lately so I’ve changed the settings to disallow new topics from being created for the first 10 minutes of a users account. Hopefully this isn’t too annoying for legitimate new users.

Please make sure to report spam posts. Discourse automatically hides all of a users posts if a few people flag it so it is really helpful for me and everyone else.

Hi, I just created a new account and it’s been a couple of hours - I still am not able to create a new topic. I see an error “you are not able to view this resource” when I try. Could you take a look?
