I had trouble printing the above model, probably because the (FDM) printer wasn’t ideal. To make it easy to iterate on the design, I wrote a version in OpenSCAD. I haven’t printed it yet, but I did have a variation CNC machined (see custom-tecan-fluent-nest). You can find the OpenSCAD script here. The protrusions probably make it a bit tricky to print; if I would go ahead, I’d replace them with holes, press in threaded brass inserts (example), and secure everything with screws.
