The instrument is always running in safe speed. I can get it to run at regular speed after a method is started by pausing the run and going into manual control to unlock/lower and then raise/lock. I have tried adding these steps into the method but that does not work. I have checked to make sure the auto lock is enable in settings. I am not sure what else to look at, could it be something in a ATML sub method or HFM subs? I couldn’t see anything in them that calls an Unlock/Lower call, but I am running out of places to check. Any suggestions?

Are you running VENUS 6.4? If so, they are currently working on a hotfix for this. There are multiple cases where the VANTAGE will go into safe speed and stay in safe speed unless a specific firmware command is called or a raise loading tray and lock command are explicitly called from the control panel during a pause. I will keep you updated as to when that fix is released. In the meantime, if you have the ability to revert your VENUS version to 6.3.2 that is the best thing we can do right now.

Yes, we are running 6.4. I will check to see if we are able to revert without too much headache.
