I am writing a very simple method to create different assay stocks consisting of multiple primers, probes etc. There could be as many as 80 different components going into just one well and so i decided to try using the Hamilton Power Steps Hit-picking library as i’ve had success with this method before.
However the different individual volumes don’t change for each individual channel so for example in my worklist my volumes are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 but the first aspirate and dispense uses 1,1,1,1 and then the next uses 5,5,5,5 - so its skipping down the worklist correctly, but only applying the first volume value to the liquid handling steps.
Its my first time using a nimbus and im stumped at how to get round this issue. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
