Corrupt configuration file (vstar.cfg)

Has anyone experienced these type of errors/been able to correct them easily?

This appeared seemingly out of nowhere upon system restart and is appearing at syntax check for all methods including built in methods and known working methods.

These are two separate issues:

If there was a forced restart while VENUS was actively running (or a power interruption to the PC) then required files used at either edit time or run time can be corrupted when improperly closed. If you can post your VStar.cfg I can take a look to see if the issue is recoverable, otherwise the software may require a repair. To provide instruction I would need to know what version of software you are running.

The second issue is an inability for run control to connect to the VENUS SQL server and establish a run database. For further instruction and insight, I would check out the following posts:
