I have been experiencing issues with Beckman P250 tips (for NX/FX) lots manufactured in 2026, particularly the March lots. I measured and observed the tip box dimension against 2025 lots, and I am seeing an approximate 0.6 mm increase in width, including the bottom skirt. This is a rather significant variance causing problems on the systems’ conveyors.
Has anyone observed this variance or experienced problems with 2026 lots?

@GBGenthusiast , there have been problems with I-Series tips and tip boxes for years now.
Beckman will replace your tip lot if you provide them this information. However, they will not share this information to any other customer, nor tell you if other customers are having issues with other lots.
To help the community best, you should indicate what Cat # & Lot #s you are seeing issues with here for NX/FX tips, like I did for I series tips.
The lot number and manufacturing date were reported to Beckman. The variance in measurement was provided too. Interestingly Beckman asked for my systems’ serial numbers because the rep highlighted that as part of their protocol, they could send a service person to investigate and confirm the root cause as the tip boxes may not be the issue. This seems strange to me. As we purchased the tips through VWR, we had to go through a process to file a complaint and again serial numbers of my systems were requested.
