Lab Navigator

Hey everyone,

Are you using Lab Navigator? Thoughts? Concerns?

Cheers!

We are not. Looks beneficial for process/routine work whereas we are R&D and we slightly adjust our scripts as needed. I personally think everyone using an instrument should have end-to-end training on how exactly that instrument works, but understand this may not be feasible for all industries & workflows. Out of curiosity, any idea how much a single seat license costs?

Is this a white labeled version of https://artifical.com/?

Yep. Have you used Artificial?

No I haven’t just recognized the interface!

They didn’t even try to hide it:

So I don’t get it - is this just artificial?

They never tried to hide it.

It’s the same as hardware companies licensing their tech to other companies who in turn get to slap their logos on it.

Tecan partners with a newer digital company and in turn that companies digital tools gets a wider reach than they may have otherwise organically reached. Customers also get access to this widely known software at probably a fraction of the cost and with less risk.

Also the digital tool is platform agnostic and theoretically provides control of a lab with many liquid handlers from a single set of API’s. It seems like a win-win for all of the folks involved.
